After the Fortress Night went back to the global Apple Shop, the download rate was eight years high.

According to AppMagic estimates, the Fortress Night has downloaded more than 3.4 million times since it returned to App Store a week, and the re-entry of iOS at the end of the eight-year period has resulted in high weekly downloads.

The Fortress Night was initially on line iOS on 15 March 2018, and in 2020 Epic Gomes filed a lawsuit against apples for their over-representation in App Store, which were then taken down on the grounds that the Fortress Night violated the App Store rule. After six years of legal struggle, Fort Night returned to the Global Applied Shop on 19 May 2026.

Last year, the Fortress Night re-emerged App Store in some markets, such as the United States, and this global return meant that the game returned to major markets such as France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada and Japan, all of which downloaded more than the United States.

AppMagic data show that Fortress Night was more than twice as downloaded this week in France and the United Kingdom, at 366,000 and 307,000, respectively, and about 151,000 in the United States. Saudi Arabia ranked at the top of the global downloads with 474,000.

Since Fortress Night returned to the global application market, the areas with the highest downloads in turn were:

Saudi Arabia
France
3. United Kingdom
Mexico
Brazil
Japan
Germany
8. Canada
9. United States
10. Spain

According to Epic Gomes, Apple indicated to United States courts that the United States suit had been followed by regulators in other countries. Epic chose to return to Fort Night at this time because they believed that other Governments would not allow apples to continue to charge “unreasonable fees”.

In terms of installation, Fortress Night’s first week back to the iOS global market was its best seven days in addition to the month in which it was posted. The latest 3.4 million downloads are close to 3.7 million in the first week of the game and more than 3.1 million in the second week. The third week on line in 2018 recorded the highest number of downloads in history, at 4.2 million, and the fourth week at about 3.6 million.

In terms of single-day downloads, Fortress Night has also been on the rise for eight years since its global return. The number of game days downloaded on 18 May 2026 was only 19,000, rising by 1408 per cent after 19 May, reaching almost 290,000 and peaking at 674,000 on 23 May. The following week, downloads continued to be higher than before global re-entry, with an additional 445,000 downloads added on the seventh day.

The last time fort night was downloaded, on 24 May 2025, about 569,000 times, a few days after returning to App Store, United States. This was the first time that Fortress Night had been downloaded over 500,000 times at the iOS end since 15 April 2018. The highest daily download of games was recorded at 764,000 on 18 March 2018.

Although Fortress Night returned to its first week of installation close to the historical record, the player expenditure through App Store reached only a six-week high. It may be related to the fact that the player can consume through the epic web store and that the new player has not yet been converted to a paid user.
