The current hot multilingual learning application of Duolingo has announced the acquisition of NextBeat, a London game studio, and the amount of the transaction is not disclosed. The studio was split from Space Ape in January of this year and was recently acquired by the developer of the tribal conflict, Supercell, and the former studio was closed.

As the developer of the hot music game Beatstar, the Next Beat team will lead the development of music learning courses under the multi-neighbor country flag. At the same time, 23 of the current staff in NextBeat will join a number of neighbouring countries, marking the first official team in Britain.
In the statement, several neighbouring countries indicated that millions of learners were already testing the pilot version of their music courses. According to the company, the acquisition demonstrated the ambition of many neighbouring countries to make music education more attractive and accessible by creating products that are both interesting and efficient.
The CEO of NextBeat, Simon Hade, referring to the deal, said: “It is clear that many neighbouring countries and NextBeat have the same values from the outset: learners first, pursue excellence, and maintain a relaxed atmosphere. Working together means that we can inject our passion for music and games into this platform, which is redefining how people learn.”

The chief business officer of many neighbouring countries, Bob Meese, added: “Learning should be as attractive as playing an excellent game, whether you are learning a new language or playing a loving song.” He further emphasized: “This is a strategic investment in talent. The NextBeat team brings with it a deep knowledge of mobile games and the music industry, which will make our music curriculum and the entire multi-neighborship platform more enjoyable, immersive and efficient.”
NextBeat, a London-based music game studio, is famous for the popular games Beatstar and County Star. Two popular music games were downloaded more than 100 million times, generating nearly $200 million in income. NextBeat formed a team of game design, empowerment and creative technology specialists to explore new interactive experiences in the areas of play, education and health.
